About Us
Toowoomba Together Incorporated (TTI) has deep roots in the Toowoomba Community. The organisation’s aim is to drive social change around domestic and gender-based violence through education, awareness campaigns, preventative programs and partnerships.
Our primary stakeholders are all community members who are at risk of becoming a victim or perpetrator of gender-based violence.
Our History
TTI was established in 2006 and originated as the Toowoomba Says No to Violence (TSN2V) movement.
.
At the inaugural Domestic and Gender-based Violence Summit held on the 23rd of November 2015, the Toowoomba community overwhelmingly endorsed “Toowoomba Says No to Violence” as the vehicle for driving social change around domestic and gender-based violence.
Toowoomba Together Campaign Launched in 2016.
“Toowoomba Says No to Violence” was composed of a committee supported by numerous “friends” who assisted in its activities. However, as an incorporated body, Toowoomba Together Incorporated expects to take our outcomes to a whole new level. Launched in 22 July 2016 at a Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce event attended by Dame Quentin Bryce.
